When any of the above things I mentioned above happen a lot in a woman’s lifetime, it can affect your weight loss because your body notices this as stress.
It can leave you feeling frustrated because the fat is piling on, you feel tired and moody, you have cravings, you restrict and exercise more, you try lots of diets and end up frustrated and tired and not getting any place.

Your body senses the stress in your body and will hold onto fat instead of releasing it.
You see, a woman’s body naturally feels comfortable with fat around the body because fat can make your hormones.
So when you give your body the correct nutrition it is asking for, and when you can reduce the stress, it will release the fat naturally.
Another important point to mention is that a woman has a short window to burn fat, around 3 hours per day but don’t despair because you can still achieve weight loss. You can increase your fat burning by building muscle because muscle requires a lot of energy and can torch fat on your body very effectively.
Another thing that can affect fat loss for women is that as you age and transition from perimenopause into post menopause, you will develop lots of different changes in your body such as:
- You will be more sensitive to stress
- You will be more sensitive to sugar and how sugar is processed in your body
- You Lose muscle much more quickly and its harder to build muscle
- Your metabolism slows down
- Your stomach acid can be affected
- This will also affect how fat is distributed on your body and will move from your butt and thighs to your belly area.
The good news is that you can get the above issues under control and get them working in your favour to burn fat, keep your body nourished, have more energy and have better digestive health too.
One of the most important things you can do is to get your nutrition right and reduce that stress!!
